NWBA – For several years, The ROHO Group has been sponsoring the National Wheelchair Basketball Association. ROHO representatives attend and showcase products at the NWBA Nationals each year. The National Wheelchair Basketball Association is comprised of over 200 basketball teams across twenty-two conferences and seven divisions. The NWBA was founded in 1948, and today consists of men's, women's, intercollegiate, and youth teams throughout the United States of America and Canada. |
National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic – ROHO has been a Silver Medal Sponsor of the DAV Winter Sports Clinic for many years. This event is the world leader in promoting rehabilitation by instructing Veterans with disabilities in adaptive Alpine and Nordic skiing, and introducing them to a number of other adaptive recreational activities and sports. For many newly injured Veterans, including many injured in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Clinic offers their first experience in winter sports and gives them the inspiration to take their rehabilitation to a higher level. Participants include Veterans with spinal cord injuries, amputations, traumatic brain injuries, neurological challenges and visual impairments. The DAV Winter Sports Clinic is held yearly at the end of March & beginning of April in Snowmass Village, CO.
